Actually the vertical arms of the 24x27 TorkLift Lock and Load Maximum Security Cargo Tray # TLA7752 are not held to the carrier with wing nuts. They actually fit through a slot and then rotate 90 degrees which holds them in place. Once you assemble the arms around the generator and secure them there wouldn't be a way to easily disconnect the arms and remove the generator. Hey Allen, this is a good question but the good news is that if you were to drastically change the ply rating of your tires it's not going to significantly affect the suspension/wheels of your trailer so you can definitely do so. The ply rating correlates mostly to the weight capacity of the tire.
